PBB Women sets up bureaus to enhance activities

KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women’s Wing has set up four bureaus each representing the four zones to further enhance their activities during the 2025 – 2028 term.

PBB Women chief Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah said this was decided during the recent meeting of its Women’s Supreme Council which was attended by 40 council members.

The Southern Zone is led by Batang Sadong assemblywoman Rodiyah Sapiee; Betong Zone by Umang Nangku; Central Zone by Fridah Osman; and the Northern Zone by Lilla Raja @ Lilla Osman.

The bureau’s activities will focus on three key areas: leadership, which emphasizes leadership values and character of the PBB Women, led by Datuk Sharifah Hasidah; preparations for the 13th State Election, which will be led by Datin Seri Angelina Ujang, focusing on the preparation of the women’s machinery from top to grassroots levels; and economic empowerment for women, led by Umang Nangku and Natasha Nasa, who will focus on increasing women’s income as key contributors to household income.

Fatimah extended her congratulations and appreciation to all involved, especially the PBB Women’s Supreme Council and women members, who worked hard to successfully organise the 16th PBB Convention, including those involved in sales activities during the event.
