SIBU: The Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Bawang Assan branch has been urged to organise more activities and programmes to attract new members.

Its chairman Romeo Christopher Tegong said proactive measures are necessary in expanding the party.

Romeo delivers his speech.

“I urge our youth and women’s wings to organise more activities. Don’t stop here; please keep going (organising activities and programmes) so that we can have more ‘family’ (members),” he said.

He said this in his speech at the Pre-Christmas Gathering cum Fundraising dinner organised by Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Bawang Assan’s Women’s wing here last night (Dec 8).

A total of 400 participants participated in the programme including members from Tamin, Kakus, Nangka, and more.

Romeo also commended the women’s wing for their effort in making the programme a success.

“Congratulations to PBB Bawang Assan women’s wing. This is the first time we organised such an event,” he said.

Also present were Romeo’s wife, Veronica Belankat, Temenggung Stanley Gramong Bandar and others.
