KUCHING: The festive spirit of Aidilfitri was in full swing as over 300 guests gathered for the TEGAS Riang Raya Aidilfitri Open House 2025, held for the first time at the TEGAS Digital Village (TDV).

The event, organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS), celebrated more than just the joys of Syawal.

It also serves as a bridge for meaningful connections among government agencies, private sectors, strategic partners, programme alumni, tenants and members of the public.

Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Deputy Minister cum TEGAS chairman, Datuk Len Talif Salleh, attended the celebration with his wife, Datin Asiah Awai.

“Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inaugural event at our Digital Village.

“It’s wonderful to see our neighbours from the Sama Jaya Zone and so many of our programme partners coming together,” he said.

Reflecting on TEGAS’ journey since its establishment 13 years ago, Len acknowledged that many attendees have been part of the agency’s progress, either directly or indirectly.

“With more than 12,000 programmes conducted across Sarawak, we are deeply grateful to our strategic partners who have remained committed to building excellent collaboration with TEGAS.

“This spirit must continue if we are to drive Sarawak’s development in line with the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030,” he added.

The open house also featured an exclusive guided tour of TDV’s state-of-the-art facilities, aimed at showcasing opportunities for start-ups, entrepreneurs and digital innovators in Sarawak’s growing digital economy.

Adding to the festive cheer were over 20 food and beverage stalls, offering a diverse spread to welcome guests in true Aidilfitri fashion.
