KABONG: More than 30 members of the Area Neighbourhood Watch (KRT) Sri Jaya Market of Sri Aman held their Family Day 2017 at Tanjung Kembang Beach, Kabong last Wednesday.

The KRT Chairman, Jefferia Saini said Tanjung Kembang Beach Kabong is the ideal choice for such purpose as the location is ideal for creating family ties among members of the KRT Sri Jaya Market of Sri Aman.

“Thus the presence of such bond can strengthen relationship among the members and has a positive impact in their lives in the future,” he said.

Earlier, several events were held to enliven the Family Day. These included ‘Gunny Sack Race’, Pull the Upih Leaf, filling sand into the bottles contest and many more.

Jefferia and Adlina Nur Abdullah emerged champions of the ‘Gunny Sack Race’ with the second place won by Jack and Muri and third place won by Azizie and Asmarita.

There were interesting prizes for all the aforesaid contests and games. These prizes were given to the winners at a special presentation ceremony that concluded the family day before all the participants returned to Sri Aman.
