SADONG JAYA: A total of 220 people received donations in conjunction with the Jelajah Ramadan Sarawakfm.
The programme was held at Dewan Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Rahman Yaakup here, and aimed at helping the needy in view of the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.
Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee said she hoped such similar programmes would be held in the future.
She added that such a programme was good in highlighting issues in her constituency.
“I would like to express my gratitude for the organiser because this programme is able to cater to the underprivileged such as the asnaf and also the community in Sadong Jaya.
“I hope that this programme is able to ease their daily burden and bring some cheer to the needy to some extent.”
Rodiyah also extended her gratitude to RTM Sarawak as well as the agencies involved in the programme.
