SIBU: Fifty orphans from the Sarawak Orphan Welfare Association (PERYATIM) at Kompleks Kebajikan Juma’ani Tuanku Haji Bujang in Kemunyang recently enjoyed a festive tea party hosted by the Sibu Branch of the National Association of Life Insurance and Family Takaful Advisors (NAMLIFA).
The event, held at the KFC outlet in Delta Mall, is an annual initiative by NAMLIFA to support the less fortunate during the festive season.
Organising chairperson Catherine Huang expressed her gratitude to the branch committee members and sponsors, including Delta Mall management and individuals Yii Sie Hua, Din Ing Hoou, and David Lee Meng Ing, for their generous contributions.
Before leaving, each child received goodies and a pack of stationery as a token of appreciation.
