SERIAN: A local man sustained minor injuries while two others escaped unscathed in a car crash near Sungai Mamat Bridge this morning.
The accident happened around 4.55 am when a Perodua Alza reportedly veered out of control and landed sideways in a ditch.
Firefighters from Serian station were dispatched to the scene, about 17km away. Upon arrival, they found that members of the public had already rescued the driver and passengers from the vehicle.
The injured individual, a 30-year-old man, suffered minor head injuries and received on-site treatment before he was taken to Serian Hospital for further medical evaluation.
Meanwhile, the two other occupants, aged 35 and 45, escaped injuries.
