KUCHING: The Nyamai Sarawak Gastronomy Festival 2025 returns with an exciting twist as it embraces the spirit of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Malaysia!

Held from Jan 18 to 28 at the Borneo Cricket Ground, this vibrant festival promises a unique fusion of culture, food, and sports, creating an unforgettable fan experience.

“Free entry for all, visitors can dive into a world of mouth-watering culinary delights,
live entertainment, and family-friendly activities that showcase the best of Sarawak and beyond.

“At the heart of the festival is an extraordinary gastronomic journey, featuring Sarawak’s beloved dishes such as Laksa Sarawak and Kolo Mee, and others.

“Visitors can also explore locally crafted goods from the Sarawak Craft Council and sample specialties like Gula Apong Tempe, Sarawak coffee, and refreshing coconut shakes,” a statement from the organiser, Sarawak Gastronomy Association, said today.

Besides, the event’s dynamic atmosphere is further enhanced by cultural performances, live band music, open karaoke, Zumba sessions, and kids’ coloring contests, providing something for everyone.

“Fans of cricket can enjoy live match screenings in the dedicated fan zone, while weekend shoppers can browse unique treasures at the Kuching Car Boot Sale Community (KCBS),” it said.

Additionally, visitors that spend RM50 or more during the festival days can participate in a lucky draw for fantastic prizes like the grand prize of a motorcycle.
