MUKAH: Norfifiana Nordile emerged as champion of the Politeknik Mukah (PMU) Electrical Engineering Project Innovation Competition & Exhibition (EIPEX) December Session 2020 here recently.

Her winning project is Water Quality Monitoring System and supervised by Gordon Kechendai Nyanggau.

The first runner-up was Mohd Adam Johny, with a project entitled Uvc Germicidal Storage, and supervised by Mohd Ramli Ali; while Nur Effarizqin Mazeri took third spot, with a project entitled A Simple And Cost-Effective Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaning Robot For A Home Application, and her supervisor was Dr Muhammad Sufyan Safwan Mohamad Basir. Mohd Adam Johny also won the best video.

Fourth and fifth places were won by Jesron Karwi Michael (Fan And Lighting Control Over Internet, supervised by Kumar Boniface Jubilee) and Kenny Elvis (The On/Off For Control Light With Arduino, supervised by Abdul Fata Abdul Talip), respectively.

The winners received medals and certificates of appreciation and participation at thr International Borneo Innovation Exhibition & Competition (IBIEC) 2021.

PMU deputy director (Academic) Mohd Sani Said officiated at the closing of the event which was held virtually over a two-day period.

The event was organised by PMU Electrical Engineering Department and involved semester five students from Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
