BETONG: Cliques no longer exist in PBB Beting Maro branch.
Its members had regrouped and formed a united front, said its chairman Razaili Gapor, who is also Beting Maro assemblyman.
“There’s no more issue of the old and new group. Now there is only one team that is Team PBB Beting Maro,” he confirmed.
Razaili said there was no issue of a divided members as all those who were loyal to his predecessor Datuk Bolhassan Di were not being left out of the branch’s current exco line-up.
“We’ve absorbed almost everyone from the so-called previous team. We did not leave them out. Even the branch assistant chairman Mohidin Bolhassan, Women chief Lueng and information chief Ramzi Rasit, among other previous exco members, are also in the present exco line-up.
“In addition, there are those who were not with us before are now with us. We’re now one big happy family under PBB,” he added.
He hoped that tomorrow’s mini convention would further strengthen the spirit of unity among the present team of exco members.
With the prevailing unity, Razaili expressed confidence that GPS would sail smoothly in the seat in the upcoming state election.
Razaili, who is also a member of PBB central working committee, however, urged all party members to continue to give their undivided support in ensuring PBB and GPS have a comfortable win in the seat.
“Sarawak has no better alternative. We must retain GPS to continue to rule the state. There’s no doubt it,” he added.
He said PBB and GPS had a proven track record in administering the state to greater heights of progress.
On tomorrow’s convention, he said several proposals related to Beting Maro would be tabled for discussion.
