KUCHING: Cloud Seeding Operation (OPA) will be performed when the condition allows it.
A statement issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department said even though the probability of heavy rains in Sumatra and Borneo is low in the coming weeks, OPA can only be done if the sky above the state is conducive to the operation.
“The operation will only be performed if the atmosphere is in the proper condition.
“The department is monitoring the atmospheric condition from time to time and will immediately implement OPA when the situation allows it,” the statement added.
