
KUCHING: The Nirvana Memorial Services Bhd held a Nirvana Star Annual Recognition Night 2018 at Crown Square here last Friday.
Also present at the event were Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Deputy Minister Chong Chieng Jen and Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang.
Nirvana Memorial Services managing director Anna Wong said that the company maintained a steady growth last year and also successfully achieved the required standard.
“This was due to the efforts of our various agent partners as well as continuous innovations of the company’s leaders to keep pace with the time and diversify our products,” she said.

Anna added that the company was obliged to help with the final journey of life in the past few years through recommendations of charity and nursing homes. The company was also obliged to help more than 30 underprivileged people.
Nirvana Memorial Park has also recently launched a benevolent and love-oriented “Renai Garden”, offering favourable prices so that the underprivileged may apply from the company for free “urn chambers”,” she said.

The four categories of the 2018 Annual Recognition Awards were Top Service Advisor (SA), Top Service Director (SD), Top Pre-District Service Director (PDSD) and Top District Service Director (DSD).
The champion of the Top SA category was Cindy Chung while the first runner-up was Staphanie Lai. The second runner-up was Vivian Chai.
Awards of Excellence were given to Amber Lam, Yeo Hai Wui and Voon Ai Chung.
The champion of the Top SD category was Chung Joon Swiee while the first runner-up was Crystal Lai. The champion of the Top PDSD was Chung Joon Sin while the first runner-up was Hazel Lai.
The champion of the Top DSD category was Chung Miang Poh while the first runner-up was Amy Low.
