KUCHING: Several Malaysian non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have jointly urged the Malaysian government to seek international assistance for the Palestinian people and to advocate for a global boycott against Israel.
In a joint statement today, it also asked the Malaysian government to encourage countries that have ties with Israel to reconsider their diplomatic relations.
The NGOs said that recent actions by Israel, particularly the bombing in Gaza, have sadly taken the lives of many, including innocent women and children.
“The actions against the Palestinians by Israel are now clear for all to see. Every person with a heart and clear thinking should do their best to end these aggressive acts by Israel as soon as possible,” it said.
