KUCHING: Ahead of his swearing-in ceremony as the eighth Governor of Sarawak, Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar relished a leisurely breakfast at his favourite eatery Yong Hua Cafe, here this morning.
Accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Sanusi, and their children, Wan Junaidi frequents the cafe, as shared in a post on his official Facebook page.
Their breakfast selections often include ‘mee jawa’ and ‘satay,’ showcasing their fondness for the cafe’s offerings.
Wan Junaidi, 78, also engaged in conversations and mingled with fellow patrons before departing.
Appointed under Article 1 of the Sarawak Constitution, Wan Junaidi assumes the role of Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak for a four-year term, effective from Jan 26 2024 to Jan 26 2028.
