According to Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) officer, Sapuan Baki, the community leaders had the privilege to ask Awang Yusup about administrative issues and certain other issues pertaining to their tasks as community and/or village leaders.

“The community leaders must shift from their old methods of leading their communities to newer and more efficient methods which will be introduce by the new DO,” he said.

“As there are students and young adults in your communities, you have to use the new leadership methods in order to have their respect and to have impact on them.”
