KUCHING: The newly appointed Kuching District deputy police chief (operations) Supt Merbin Lisa yesterday led a community policing walkabout at Medan Niaga Satok wet market, Kubah Ria here.
Held to engage with the public and build confidence in police omnipresence near the area, such activities would enable members of the force to understand the community better and develop good relationship with the people in the area.
Flyers on crimes and drug abuse were also handed out to members of the public during the walkabout.
