BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming, recently officiated at the opening of an indoor basketball court in Taman Desa Damai, which is expected to become a hub for sports and recreational activities for the local community.

The event marked another significant step in efforts to further develop better sports facilities, thereby strengthening harmony and unity within the community.

He stated that the new court not only provides a venue for sports activities but also serves as a platform to build a more active and healthy society.

“This court is not just a place for sports but an initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle, foster a spirit of unity, and enhance relationships among residents. We aim to create a more united community,” he said.

Pang added that he would continue to focus on developing sports and recreational facilities in the Tanjong Batu constituency, aiming to improve the quality of life for the community through activities that benefit their physical and mental health.
