MIRI: NAIM Holdings Berhad was honoured as the sole recipient of the Corporate Award at the Miri City Mayor’s Awards 2024.

In a statement, it said that the accolade highlights the company’s ongoing contributions to Miri’s development and its efforts in enhancing community well-being.

Since NAIM’s establishment, the company has played a pivotal role in shaping Miri’s urban landscape, notably through the development of Bandar Baru Permyjaya, one of the largest satellite townships in the area.

“The company’s initiatives include the construction of Desa Damai and SouthLake Permyjaya, which incorporates modern amenities and services such as private schools and healthcare facilities.

“NAIM has also contributed to education by building the upcoming Sri Mawar Primary School and with scholarships through the NAIM Foundation, alongside its charitable efforts, including Ramadhan donations to community mosques, firefighting support with BOMBA, and other community welfare programmes,” the company said.

It said that beyond infrastructure, NAIM’s dedication to sustainability is evident in its adoption of eco-friendly building practices and reforestation initiatives, ensuring environmental conservation alongside development.
