KOTA SAMARAHAN: NAIM Group of Companies recently brought compassion to life through ‘Crafting Joy for Umar’, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to build a home for a long-serving staff member in need.
NAIM highlighted that the initiative reflects the company’s deep appreciation for its employees while reinforcing unity and care within the NAIM family.
“As part of the project, NAIM employees gathered at the newly completed home to carry out final preparations, including painting, landscaping, cleaning and furnishing, ensuring a comfortable and functional living space for Umar and his family.
“For Umar and his family, the home represents hope and a brighter future, filling the moment with overwhelming gratitude and joy,” NAIM said.
For Umar, having a safe and comfortable home for his family is a dream come true.
“It is made possible by NAIM’s generosity and the unwavering support of my colleagues,” he said.
NAIM said that ‘Crafting Joy for Umar’ marks its third CSR initiative of building homes for those in need, following similar projects for John Away in Miri (2019) and Dayang Inot Ahmad Wan in Bintangor (2020).
Timed perfectly with Ramadan – a season of reflection, generosity and giving – this project embodies NAIM’s core values of empathy, unity and gratitude.
“Our journey has been shaped by the dedication of our employees, and today, we honour that by giving back.
“Charity starts at home, and by taking care of our own, we strengthen the very foundation that allows us to grow and contribute even more,” NAIM said.
As NAIM moves forward, the company remains dedicated to its employees and communities, ensuring its growth continues to make a lasting, meaningful impact on the lives of those who make its success possible.
