KUCHING: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 29-year-old motorcyclist in the early hours yesterday at Mile 8, Jalan Matang.
Padawan District Police chief Mohd Irwan Hafiz Radzi said the incident occurred at approximately 3.15 am, where it involved the victim’s Yamaha motorcycle and a Toyota Camry.
“The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the car fled the location,” he said in a statement.
