MIRI: A food delivery rider sustained injuries following a motorcycle-car accident at Tanjung Lobang, Jalan Miri-Bakam yesterday.
Civil Defence Force (APM) Miri officer Lt Mirwan Shah Masri said they received a distressed call around 2.18pm and subsequently despatched four-member team to the scene.
Upon arriving, the team confirmed that the accident occurred when the victim who was riding his motorcycle alone, crashed into the car moving in the same direction.
It was reported that the 19-year-old victim had sustained a broken left leg and a sprained right ankle.
The victim was given initial treatment before he was taken to Miri Hospital.
