KUCHING: A motorcyclist died on the spot after the motorcycle she was riding rammed the rear of a mechanical excavator by the road side at Jalan Kota Samarahan at 9am yesterday.
The deceased identified as Nurul Shahirah binte Siang, 23, of Kampung Semera, Ulu Sadong Jaya, a factory worker at Muara Tabuan, was on her way home from work after a night shift.
The 40-year-old excavator driver from Bintangor was unhurt.
