SIBU: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Dudong and Sibu Jaya branch mobile service aims to increase public participation and foster community cooperation to improve the quality of life for residents.

According to SUPP Dudong branch chairman, Councillor Wong Ching Yong, the mobile service not only strengthens connections within the community but also encourages broader participation from residents, contributing to positive development in the surrounding area.

“We hope that through activities like this, we can enhance interaction and understanding among the people and create a more harmonious community,” he said in his speech at the bi-weekly mobile service activity, *Kopitiam Talk*, held recently at Sinar Fajar Cafe & Restaurant, Jalan Mantis, Upper Lanang.

During the programme, the team also assisted nearby residents in applying for the Kenyalang Gold Card.

“The mobile service team also distributed mandarin oranges to vendors and customers at the Grand Heights Market and conveyed Chinese New Year greetings to them,” he added.

Also present were the political secretary to the Sarawak Premier, William Annut, and SUPP Sibu Jaya branch chairman, Kapitan Kong Sing Ping.
