KUCHING: Minister for Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah conducted a courtesy visit to the One-Stop Early Intervention Centre (OSEIC) today.
OSEIC is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), initially funded with RM4 million, and later taken over by the Sarawak government.
Earlier, she was briefed by the OSEIC team on the organised programmes.
Subsequently, the Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) women chief and her entourage inspected the facilities provided at the centre.
It is understood that as of January this year, 495 children have been registered at OSEIC Kuching, while 33 children have been registered at OSEIC Dalat.
While in 2023, a total of 43 children completed their studies, and in the preceding year, 26 children graduated from the OSEIC programme.
