Minister meets with lorry associations

KUCHING: Minister for Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin yesterday (May 6) held a meeting with lorry associations statewide.

Among the associations present were those from Limbang, Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, Sarikei and Kuching.

The meeting was aimed to have a better engagement with the logistics and transportation industry players.

Apart from that, it was to gather feedback and suggestions including challenges that they (lorry associations) are facing, and enhance the transportation, logistics, delivery, and services system in Sarawak.

Also present were permanent secretary of the state’s Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) Datuk Buckland Bangik and other ministry officials.
