Minister congratulates Elvis Didit as new Resident

KAPIT: Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi has extended his congratulations to Elvis Didit on his appointment as the new Resident of Kapit.

He said Elvis, a native of Sri Aman, brings with him over 30 years of experience in Sarawak’s public service, including his most recent role as the assistant principal secretary in the Corporate Management Division of the Sarawak Ministry of Transport.

“I am confident in Elvis’s ability to lead and drive development in Kapit Division, particularly in ensuring the successful implementation of projects under the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP).

“I hope all stakeholders in Kapit, including community leaders and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), will extend their full cooperation to him in understanding and addressing the priorities of the people here,” he said in a post on Facebook.

Nanta, who is also the Kapit MP also took the opportunity to thank Galong Luang, who now serves as the Miri Resident, for his dedicated service and contributions during his tenure as Kapit Resident.

“May both Elvis and Galong continue to excel in their respective roles, contributing to the growth and prosperity of their divisions and Sarawak as a whole,” he said.
