MUKAH: The Sarawak team from the Malaysian Global Taekwondo Federation (MGTF) successfully brought home two golds, two silvers, and three bronzes at the 2024 Beaufort Taekwondo Championship.
Zaidi Morshidi, the Head Coach of the Tunas Mukah Taekwon-Do Club, said that they sent only eight participants to the competition.
“I am very satisfied with the performance of all the participants involved in this championship and proud of their achievements.
“This is our final competition for 2024,” he told the media recently.
He further explained that the gold medals were won by Siti Shahrizah Zaidi and Diyhaul Atif Khairul Naim in the “free sparring” event.
The silver medals were awarded to Hariz Junaidi in the “pattern” event and Muhammad Khairuddin in the “free sparring” event.
Meanwhile, the bronze medals were earned by Muhammad Syahmin and Riyadh Fahmi in the “free sparring” event, and Muhammad Khairuddin in the “pattern” event.
