KUCHING: LONGi Kuching Sdn Bhd (LONGi), a private company from China, donated coffee mugs and caps to Hope Place recently to be distributed to medical teams across Kuching.
The 2,600 sets of gifts was a small gesture from LONGi to show their appreciation for frontliners as well as medical teams for their dedication and hard work during this pandemic.
Hope Place distributed the items to two hospitals and one clinic, namely Sarawak General Hospital which received 2,000 sets of gifts, Sentosa Hospital (400), and Batu Kawa Health Clinic (200).
LONGi has been supporting Hope Place for many years. In 2018, LONGi sponsored over 30 units of solar panels for a charity project organised by Hope Place where solar lights were installed near several Penan settlements in Sarawak.
Hope Place encourages more private companies such as LONGi to support and help local communities.
