SIBU: Many members and supporters of the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) turned up for Lanang 14th General Election (GE14) mobilisation night on Thursday.
When met by the reporters after the event, the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Lanang parliamentary seat, Kelvin Kong said that it was a historical moment for SUPP, especially in the Central Region. He added that it was important for him as the BN candidate for Lanang to ensure victory for SUPP in the Central Region.
“In order to win, the unity of the party and the spirit of Sa’ati are very important,” stressed Kong.
“Thus, we called upon all the veterans who had contributed a lot to the party to come “home” and support the new members.”
