KUCHING: A man has survived a horrific accident after crashing into a tree and was left badly injured.

An emergency call was received at 1.07am early morning (December 17) regarding an accident at Jalan Canna Tabuan Jaya, in front of a fast food outlet.

State Fire and Rescue Operations Centre (Bomba) has dispatched a team from Tabuan Jaya Bomba station to the location.

Bomba’s spokesperson said the operations commander on field reported that a compact vehicle has crashed into a tree and there was a victim in the vehicle.

“The team inspected and saw a man in the front passenger seat of the vehicle in a conscious condition.

“However, the victim was badly injured in the crash in his hip area and the legs. The team had to carefully extract the man using a spinal board to avoid further injuries,” it said.
