KUCHING: A man was found dead in a hotel bathroom here by his wife around 10.30pm on Sunday. Prior to the incident, the victim and his wife were staying at a hotel on Saturday at about 1pm. Later in the evening, the wife went out to send their grandchildren home in Kampung Pinang Jawa, Petra Jaya.
When she returned to the hotel on Sunday night, she found her husband in an unconscious condition. The wife then alerted the hotel staff.
The ambulance which arrived later pronounced the victim dead at the scene. According to the woman, her husband had undergone surgery two weeks ago at the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH). The case is classified as sudden death and the body has been brought to the SGH morgue. No foul play was suspected.
