MIRI: A 68-year-old man died after he fell down the stairs of a hotel here on Friday night.
Chieng Luok Ping’s body was found at the bottom of the staircase. Medical personnel from the Miri hospital were summoned to the area at 9.30pm.
However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene due to serious injuries he suffered from the fall. The body was taken to the Miri hospital morgue for a post-mortem.
According to sources, before the fall, Chieng had dinner upstairs.
