SRI AMAN: A woman escaped unharmed after her car skidded off the road and crashed into bushes near Kampung Kara Lachau today.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), firefighters from the Sri Aman station were dispatched to the scene following a distress call received at 2.48 am.
Due to the 44-kilometre distance from their station, the team arrived about an hour later.
Upon reaching the scene, they confirmed that a Perodua Viva car had veered off the road and into the bushes.
Fortunately, members of the public had already assisted the 45-year-old driver out of the vehicle.
Firefighters then ensured the area was safe before leaving the scene at 4.06 am.
