SARATOK: A lorry carrying essential items has overturned at KM11, Jalan Saratok-Betong yesterday.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, a distress call on the incident was received at 10.25am.
Following the call, a team of Saratok firefighters was despatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the lorry was found overturned on the left side of the road and its load scattered.
The conductor of the lorry managed to escape unharmed.
The firefighters proceeded to stabilise the lorry, inspect the victim and cleaned up the oil spill and glass fragments due to the accident.
