JULAU: Residents of three longhouses, which are undergoing enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in this district, received food aid recently.

The aid was handed over to the longhouse residents of Rumah Guyu, Rumah Nunying and Rumah Amba in Nanga Bulo on Saturday (March 13).

The Julau District Welfare Department is responsible for coordinating the delivery of the food aid to ease the burden of the residents in quarantine.

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) reported that the delivery of food aid involved firefighters.
