MIRI: The Narcotic police here on Monday detained a couple during a raid held at a rented room in Jalan Teochew.
Drugs worth RM660 were seized from them.
According to Miri Police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, the local couple ahed 33 and 39 years-old were apprehended around 2.50pm and drugs believed to be Methamphetamine weighing at 6.60grams were seized from their possessions.
Both suspects were unemployed.
“They were further detained under Section 39A(1)of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said in a statement today.
