KUCHING: Datuk Peter Minos is truly happy to the see that other state leaders are turning to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg to discuss on various issues.
The political observer stated further that Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar is coming to meet Abang Johari to be briefed on various issues related to Terengganu.
“All goes to show now that others are no longer looking down on Sarawak as they once did, and instead they look up to the state for ideas and strategies.
“We cannot feel but to be proud, and it is not easy for Abang Johari to put Sarawak on a pedestal, but now that it has happened, we owe it a lot to him,” he said in a recent statement.
Minos stated that the challenge is now on the universities in Sarawak such as Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM), Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus and Curtin Malaysia in making sure their students learn all the new initiatives by Abang Johari.
“Get specialised and replicate in some ways of what Abang Johari has been doing and be a reference to the world.
“That would be great and wonderful, and a day will come when foreigners will be seeking ideas and strategies from Sarawak,” he added.
