KUCHING: A Business Events for a Sustainable Future Forum titled The Legacy Three-Sixty, will take place this coming September.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said the two-day event will feature interactive workshops and thought-provoking dialogues, with the Borneo Inspires Legacy Awards taking place on the night of the forum.
“I highly encourage you to attend the Legacy Three-Sixty forum this September and nominate your achievements for the inaugural Borneo Inspires Legacy Awards 2025.
“It is an opportunity for you to evolve, innovate, and stay ahead of the game,” he said in a text of speech read by Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah during the preview for the event at Sheraton Hotel here on Monday.
Abang Johari pointed out that Legacy Three-Sixty is the only forum dedicated to business event legacies and sustainability in Southeast Asia.
“I am impressed by the level of creativity and quality of content in the preview.
“It has reinforced the significance of legacy in business events and made it clear that we have no reason to step into the past and do things the old way,” he added.
Additionally, Abang Johari said the vision for the forum is simple, as he wants it, being locally grown, to be recognised by the world.
“We want event planners, policymakers, industry players and serious change makers across continents to know that Sarawak is where they can start making a difference and this is where they can drive real impact,” he added.
Abang Johari also stated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) Legacy intelligent impact measurement system is a bold leap into the future.
“As we understand it, this intelligent impact management system for business events is the first of its kind in the world—a truly forward-thinking tool that sets a new benchmark for how legacy outcomes can be assessed, optimised, and communicated.
“This is not just an achievement in technology; it is a visionary initiative that allows everyone to genuinely drive impact together with associations, event planners, industry players, policymakers and a host of other stakeholders,” he added.
