KUCHING: Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) St Alban Sg Tapang has taken another step towards modernising its learning environment with a contribution of RM56,000 to finance the purchase of four smart interactive learning boards.
The contribution, made through the Stampin Service Centre, marks a significant effort to enhance educational tools at the school.
Michael Kong Feng Nian, the special Assistant to Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen, said half of the school’s classrooms will now be equipped with these state-of-the-art digital boards, enabling teachers to deliver engaging and interactive lessons while fostering a dynamic learning experience for students.
“This upgrade is not just about improving facilities but about preparing the next generation to thrive in an increasingly digital world,” he said in a statement.
Kong stressed the importance of providing students with access to modern educational tools, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
The initiative, which aims to bridge the gap between traditional education and digital advancements, reflects a long-term commitment to fully equipping the school.
Kong assured that efforts are already underway to ensure the remaining classrooms at SK St Alban will receive similar upgrades next year, with a vision of transforming the entire school into a fully digitised learning environment.
“Education is the cornerstone of progress, and we firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a well-equipped and conducive environment.
“By investing in these smart interactive learning boards, we are investing in the future of the children at SK St Alban,” he added.
