KUCHING: Kuching FA squad shared points with SAMB FC following a draw (1-1) at Stadium Hang Tuah, Melaka on last weekend.

Kuching took the lead through a goal scored by Ismail Bujang in the 30th minute, before the hosts equalised in the 70th minute.

“Actually, Kuching FA can win the game as our players dominated through the match,” said assistant coach, Shahrizan Sahari.

Nevertheless, Shahrizan said he was satisfied with the performance of the players although Kuching FA were without three key players in the absence of Sufizal Ismail, Mohd Fareez Tukijo and Mohd. Assrullah Drahman. Shahrizan added that his first eleven executed their game plan very well.

Meanwhile, assistant manager  Iswandi Ali Hassan was also delighted with the result.“We hope the players can maintain their focus for upcoming matches,” added Iswandi.

Kuching FA currently have four points from three previous matches after a win, a draw and a loss.

Their next match will be against PJ Rangers FC at the State Stadium Petra Jaya on March 19 at 4.15pm.
