KUCHING: In a gesture of appreciation for their loyal supporters, Kuching City FC shared fans who attended the disrupted 24 Jan match will be granted free entry to the game against Selangor FC on 16 March at the State Stadium in Kuching.
This was announced in their Facebook page on Saturday (Jan 25) after the match between Kuching City FC and Kedah Darul Aman FC was suspended after 16 minutes due to torrential rain and poor pitch conditions. The Malaysian Football League (MFL) deemed the pitch unplayable, leading to the match’s unfortunate postponement.
In the statement, Kuching City FC also expressed their gratitude to the fans who were present at the disrupted match and assured them that this free entry offer is a small token of appreciation for their patience and continued support.
The new date for the postponed match against Kedah Darul Aman FC will be confirmed by MFL soon.
Kuching City FC also apologised for any inconvenience caused and urged supporters to continue backing the team in their upcoming fixtures.
