KUCHING: The push for a property and construction sector that caters to senior citizens, children, and environmental sustainability is enhancing Kuching’s reputation as a city for all.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng said Ibraco Berhad has proven itself as a progressive company that adapts to evolving economic and societal needs.
“In Kuching, we are increasingly aware of the ageing population and the need to create a child-friendly city.
“I am pleased with Ibraco’s approach to development, emphasizing the creation of spaces conducive to health, safety, and inclusivity for the community.
“This progress transforms Kuching into a city that is livable for people of all ages,” he said during the Ibraco Berhad 50th Anniversary Celebration last night (Nov 29).
He added that the company consistently demonstrates deep social responsibility, exemplified by the construction of community parks such as Friendship Park, as well as its contributions to society.
Wee praised Ibraco as a Sarawak-born company that started in Kuching, expanded to Bintulu, and has now grown to Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya.
In conjunction with its 50th anniversary, Ibraco organized a carnival featuring various activities, including games, food stalls, live performances, and exhibitions under the theme ‘Holiday Homes.’
As part of the celebrations, Ibraco is offering special promotions on selected properties, making this an ideal time for those looking to invest in high-quality developments by the company.
Additionally, the anniversary celebration extends to Bintulu with an open house at the Sales Gallery in Town Square Bintulu from Nov 29 to Dec 1.
A roadshow in Sibu will also be held at Delta Mall from Dec 9 to 15.
