KUCHING: Kolej Komuniti Mas Gading (KKMG) organised a ‘Program Gerak Gempur Pengambilan Pelajar Baharu’ recently, to promote the college to villages in Bau, Lundu, Kuching and Padawan.
“The two-day programme was conducted with strict compliance of Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOPs) guidelines,” KKMG said in a statement.
“Our staff met with community leaders and influential individuals in the targeted areas to help promote as well as spread the word on the courses available.
“There were also discussions on organising short courses that they want and would benefit those in the targeted areas.”
KKMG added that pamphlets were distributed from house to house, and posters were put on display at public places.
KKMG Student Recruitment officer Adi Amin Sarkawi Sarie also conducted a special talk with participants from Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia.
