KUCHING: Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri received a courtesy call from Kimberly-Clark Malaysia, a multinational health and hygiene company.
The Ministry in a statement said the visit was led by managing director of Kimberly-Clark Malaysia Rahul Asthana.
“The objective of the courtesy visit is to strengthen existing cooperation in addition to sharing experiences and ideas for programmes related to youth and women.
“Kimberly-Clark through Kotex is a strategic partner of National Population and Family Development Board (NPFDB) in an effort to make the Reproductive and Social Health Education (PEERS) programme a success for women in this country to overcome the issue of period poverty,” it said in a Facebook posting, yesterday (March 2).
Also present during the visit were director general of NPFDB Abdul Shukur Abdullah and several NPFDB medical officers.
