BAU: The Bau District Community Development Department (KEMAS) successfully organised a Professionalism Enhancement Workshop for Community Educators of Tabika/Taska in the Mas Gading parliamentary at the Bau District Office over two days.
The programme, which began on Jan 20 and concluded on Jan 21, involved 43 educators and 41 voluntary KEMAS assistants in the constituency.
Bau District KEMAS officer Jeswin Liew said the programme aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and knowledge of children with special needs in early childhood education.
“This programme serves as a platform to expose participants to 21st-century learning pedagogy for KEMAS educators,” she said.
She added that the participants were also educated on the smart use of the internet and cyberbullying prevention, presented by Bau District information officer Sumardi Sugiman.
The programme was also attended by the assistant officer for Early Childhood Education for the Mas Gading KEMAS, Josie Asin.
