MUKAH: Mukah Land Transport Department (JPJ Mukah) conducted a joint traffic operation with other government agencies here on Monday.
The operation, carried out along Jalan Boulevard Setia Raja from 6am to 6pm, was dubbed as Ops Chinese New Year and motorcycle.
The other agencies involved were the Police, Immigration and National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK).
The operation, participated by 10 Immigration officers, seven AADK officers, three police officers and 19 JPJ officers, saw the presence of State JPJ Director, Mohd Syafiq Anas Abdullah.
The outcome of the operation saw 29 cases recorded for various traffic offences, six summonses issued and two arrested for testing drug positive.
