MIRI: Three non-governmental organisations (NGOs) came together to donate food items to those badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The three NGOs — Federation of Chinese Medicine and Physicians Sarawak, Federation of Sarawak Traditional Physicians and Complementary Medicine, and Miri Traditional Chinese Physicians Association — handed over the food items to Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting who is also Piasau assemblyman on Monday (Aug 9).
Prof Datuk Seri Tan Kit Weng presented the food items on behalf of the three NGOs.
Among the food items donated were 400 packs of rice and eggs.
Other than in Miri, the three NGOs also donated food items to those in need in other districts.
