MIRI: Motorists traveling along Jalan Pantai in Lutong, here, have been advised to anticipate potential traffic congestion on Friday (Nov 29), and Saturday (Nov 30).
The Miri City Council (MCC) issued a statement today alerting the public about the possible delays due to an official State event at the Miri Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant Project Site.
The affected stretch of Jalan Pantai is expected to experience heavier traffic flow during this period as preparations, logistics, and the event’s implementation take place.
Traffic controllers will be stationed along the road to manage vehicle movement and minimize disruptions.
MCC apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their patience and cooperation.
Normal traffic conditions are anticipated to resume from 1.30 pm onwards on Saturday.
Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly during this period to avoid delays.
