KUCHING: Police have classified the death of Sarawak director of prosecution Isa Hassim as sudden death.
According to Kuching district acting police chief Supt Merbin Lisa, the 57-year-old was found dead at his residence in Taman Sin Hai Min Park around 7pm on Feb 21.
“He was found unconscious by a colleague who went to visit his house that night.
“His body was later sent to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) morgue for further action,” he said when contacted.
It was understood that Isa had called in sick a few days ago before his passing.
Merbin added the hospital had found no signs of injuries on his body during a post mortem.
