ISN to conduct profiling on wonder boy next month

KUALA LUMPUR: The latest athletics find in the country, Muhammad Azeem Mohd Fahmi is expected to undergo profiling at the National Sports Institute (ISN) in June to identify his characteristics as an athlete.

When met by Bernama, ISN chief executive officer, Ahmad Faedzal Md Ramli said inputs
from profiling or mental and
physical talents would be handed over to his coach Muhammad Amir Izwan Tan Abdullah to improve the training techniques for young sprinter.          

“Obviously, a physical examination would be carried out for profiling including his body composition such as strength and balance, muscle mass and dieting according sports science.

“Meanwhile, in medical sports, we will also conduct a thorough health examination just like any other athletes,” he said at ISN yesterday.

Ahmad Faedzal said the matter had been discussed with Muhammad Azeem and his coach in a meeting at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Gunung Rapat, Perak, which is the state sports school on Monday. – Bernama
